June 20, 2007 - United States Attorney Patrick L. Meehan today announced the filing of a two-count indictment* charging defendant Glenn L. Guttman with distribution of crystal methamphetamine, arising from offenses committed in December of 2006, and January of 2007, in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

If convicted, the defendant faces a maximum sentence of life imprisonment, a mandatory 20 years imprisonment, 10 years to lifetime supervised release, a $ 8,000,000 fine, and a $200 special assessment.
The case was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Philadelphia Police Department. The case has been assigned to Assistant United States Attorney Joseph McGettigan.
