United States Attorney's Office News Release

 

March 8, 2007 - United States Attorney Patrick L. Meehan announced the filing of a two-count Indictment* charging Giovanny Fuentes Parilla with attempting to possess with intent to distribute approximately 4 kilograms of cocaine, in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 846, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(1). If convicted, defendant faces a maximum possible sentence of life imprisonment, with a 10-year mandatory minimum, 8 years supervised release, a $4,250,000 fine, and a $200 special assessment.
