
March 23, 2007 - United States Attorney Patrick L. Meehan today announced the filing of an Indictment* against Luis Viera and Joshua Amoro charging them with conspiracy to distribute five or more kilograms of cocaine in and around Philadelphia, PA and related charges. This case was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration and Philadelphia Police Department. If convicted, each defendant faces a maximum of life imprisonment. Viera faces a mandatory minimum of 20 years imprisonment and Amoro faces a mandatory minimum of 10 years imprisonment. Both face a substantial fine.
