March 28, 2007 - United States Attorney Pat Meehan today announced the filing of an Indictment* charging RODERICK S. VOSBURGH with one count of destroying evidence with an attempt to obstruct an investigation, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1519, one count of destroying property to prevent seizure, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 2232, and one count of attempting to receive child pornography, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 2252(a)(2) and (b)(1).

If convicted, the defendant faces a maximum possible sentence of 45 years imprisonment, a mandatory minimum of 5 years imprisonment, a $750,000 fine, 3 years of supervised release, and a special assessment of $300.
“Destroying evidence will not be tolerated. If you try it, your criminal exposure will not go away; in fact, it will escalate,” says U.S. Attorney Pat Meehan.
The case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and has been assigned to Assistant United States Attorney Denise S. Wolf.
