States Attorney Patrick L. Meehan today announced the filing of an Information* against Stephen Anderson,
a/k/a “Stephen McKibben,” 37, of Philadelphia, charging him
with conspiracy to distribute controlled substances and possession with
intent to distribute and distribution of controlled substances, arising
from his obtaining fraudulent prescriptions for thousands of dosage units
of the frequently-abused tablets Percocet, Endocet, Roxicet, OxyContin,
Lorcet, and Xanax, and the frequently-abused syrups Tussionex and Phenergan
from 2001 through July, 2006.
If convicted, the defendant faces a maximum possible sentence of 40
years in prison, a $2,000,000 fine, a minimum of three years supervised release,
a $200 special assessment, and at least $118,300 in forfeiture.
