May 16, 2007 - United States Attorney Patrick L. Meehan and Philadelphia District Attorney Lynne Abraham today announced the filing of a one-count indictment* charging MAURICE FOREMAN, a/k/a Maurice Dennis, with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, in violation of Title 18, United States Code, Section 922(g)(1). The indictment alleges that on March 27, 2007, FOREMAN, who had been convicted of a felony, possessed a Glock, Model 17, 9 mm semi-automatic handgun, serial number DK514US, loaded with 15 live rounds of 9 mm ammunition.
Defendant FOREMAN faces ten years imprisonment, three years supervised release, $250,000 fine and a $100 special assessment.
