BANK ROBBER SENTENCED

Christopher Ryan Bunch, 21, of Richardson, Texas, who admitted committing four bank robberies in Dallas last summer, was sentenced today to a total of 66 months in prison, announced U.S. Attorney Richard B. Roper of the Northern District of Texas. Bunch’s sentence also reflects the sentence for his conviction in November, in an unrelated case, on one count of access device fraud and one count of identification document fraud.

Bunch admitted committing the following bank robberies:

• June 23, 2006 Citibank
3550 Forest Lane, Dallas, Texas

• June 30, 2006 Comerica Bank
5200 Forest Lane, Dallas, Texas

• July 20, 2006 Chase Bank
11770 Marsh Lane, Dallas, Texas

• August 14, 2006 First Bank
5919 Forest Lane, Dallas, Texas

U.S. Attorney Roper praised the investigative efforts of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the U.S. Secret Service and the Dallas Police Department. The cases were prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Keith Robinson.
