WOMAN WHO ROBBED A CHASE BANK IN JANUARY SENTENCED
TO FOUR YEARS IN FEDERAL PRISON

DALLAS — Angela Marie Jones, 34, of Dallas, was sentenced today by U.S. District Judge David C. Godbey to 48 months in federal prison for robbing a branch of Chase Bank in January, 2010, announced U.S. Attorney James T. Jacks of the Northern District of Texas. She has been in custody since her arrest on January 13, 2010.

On April 13, 2010, Jones pleaded guilty to one count of bank robbery, admitting that she robbed the Chase Bank, located at 3535 Camp Wisdom Road in Dallas on January 13, 2010. That day, she entered the bank and handed a teller a note demanding money. She left the bank with cash and got into a vehicle waiting in the parking lot. She was arrested a short time later by law enforcement.

The case was investigated by the FBI and prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Phelesa Guy.
