DALLAS MAN SENTENCED TO 10 YEARS FOR
MULTIPLE BANK ROBBERIES IN NORTH TEXAS AREA

DALLAS — Larry Dewayne Pritchett, 36, of Dallas, was sentenced today by U.S. District Judge Barbara M.G. Lynn to 10 years in federal prison for his role in several bank robberies and attempted bank robberies throughout North Texas in 2009, announced U.S. Attorney James T. Jacks of the Northern District of Texas. Judge Lynn also ordered that Pritchett pay more than $18,000 in restitution.

Pritchett admitted committing the following bank robberies:

February 20, 2009 Bank of America
5010 Hwy. 78, Sachse, Texas

February 28, 2009 Bank of America
14999 Preston Road, Dallas

April 4, 2009 Bank of America
2409 Lakeview Parkway, Rowlett, Texas

Pritchett admitted committing the following attempted bank robbery:

January 16, 2009 Washington Mutual
12900 Coit Road, Dallas

Pritchett admitted that he conspired to commit the following bank robberies:

January 20, 2009 Bank of America
1925 North Dallas Parkway, Plano, Texas

January 31, 2009 Bank of America
3028 Josey Lane, Carrollton, Texas

February 6, 2009 Bank of America
1900 East Hebron Parkway, Carrollton, Texas

The case was investigated by the FBI and prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Gary Tromblay.
