FORT WORTH MAN ARRESTED AND DETAINED ON
According to the criminal complaint filed in the case, when special agents with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) executed a search warrant at Gray’s residence, where he resided alone, they located two working computers and 17 hard drives. Preliminary forensic examination of two of those hard drives has shown they contain approximately 2500 images of child pornography. This matter was brought as part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative launched in May 2006 by the Department of Justice, to combat the growing epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse. Led by U.S. Attorneys’ Offices and the Criminal Division's Child Exploitation and Obscenity Section (CEOS), Project Safe Childhood marshals federal, state and local resources to better locate, apprehend and prosecute individuals who exploit children via the Internet, as well as to identify and rescue victims.
