DALLAS MAN PLEADS GUILTY TO FEDERAL Defendant Had More Than 700 Videos of Child Pornography on his Computer
According to documents filed in the case, in September 2011, a special agent with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), acting in an undercover capacity investigating distribution of child pornography, identified a computer that was using a peer-to-peer program to share images of child pornography. In October 2011, ICE HSI special agents executed a search warrant at Korzinek’s home and seized a computer that contained the videos and images of child pornography that had been sent to the undercover agent. According to the factual resume, Korzinek told special agents that he had been downloading child pornography from the Internet and that he had been viewing child pornography since he was in high school. A preliminary forensic exam that was conducted on Korzinek’s computer revealed more than 700 videos of child pornography, with some depicting bondage and other sadistic acts involving minors. ICE HSI is in charge of the investigation. The case is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Camille Sparks. ### |
