Compensation for Sept 11
To the extent that the Federal or any other Government agency provides
money, credits, or anyother remuneration to surviving families, spouses, and children, then the same criteria that applies to a spouse should apply to a partner regardless of sex.
The criteria and funds should also apply to any foreign person killed at the WTC, the Pentagon, or any of the three airplanes.
Thank you. We must use this tragedy to build bridges and to reduce the
segregation, labelling, and discrimination that too often leads to the
hatred and anger best exemplified by the terrorist. In this regard, the US must set the example for the world. If we can we should work with our coalition partners to further this objective.
