I would like to add my two cents to this issue.

The events of September 11th affected all families equally. I am amazed that anyone would consider a time of grief an opportunity to get up on a soapbox and try to divide an already "hurting" community. This community includes all people that make up your country and indeed all countries everywhere. Now is the time to stop the bigotry and instead tighten the bonds between different people that make the USA such a wonderful country. This is something I believe Canada learned some time ago and as such this topic of denying victims fair treatment due to sexual orientation would disgust the majority.

thank you
