compensation for gay families

Dear sir\madam;

I am writing to urge you to strongly consider extending victim compensation benifits to the families of gay and lesbian people who were killed in the tragic Sept. 11 incidents. In this day and age, I would find it reprehensible if comfort was not offered to all the victims families affected.

I am certain the government of the United States of America would not want to cause further grief for those concerned, and although I am a Canadian citizen, I urge you to provide justice for families that were torn apart by the evil deeds of closed minded individuals and groups. It would be a double whammy if the gay citizens of the U.S.A. were denied the same benifits as their non-gay fellow citizens.

Thank-you for your time and consideration,
