FW: Sept. 11th Victim Compensation Fund

Dear Mr. Zwick,
This letter comes in reference to the Department's request for public
comments regarding the regulations for implementing and distributing the
"September 11 Victim Compensation Fund." I am asking that you and your
department draft regulations that will treat ALL victims of this attack
with fairness and honesty, including domestic partners and the
non-biological children of these gay and lesbian couples.
Please help send a message to those that would seek to further separate
and divide us as a nation and a free people that we
are a great nation because of our diversity not in spite of it. Surely,
the losses suffered by the families of gay and lesbian victims are equal
to those suffered by other families and should be compensated accordingly.
On a day when so many innocent people lost their lives, let us say to
those people, we honor your life and your memory and the lives you left
behind.
