9.11 victim compensation fund
dear director zwick,
i am writing on behalf of the people for the american way, and from a
powerful place in my heart. i am a student at ucla, and have observed much
of the bureaucracy that can be involved in decision-making even at
collegiate levels of government.
i do know that politics are very complicated, and it is for this reason
that i am encouraging you to promote social welfare and equitability by
emphatically supporting that the "september 11 victim compensation fund"
ensure inclusiveness of all victims of the attack, including and especially
protecting those surviving partners and children of LGBT victims. they are
among the least popular in the eyes of some powerful groups, and thus
especially need our support and legal protection.
