"September 11 Victim Compensation Fund"
Dear Mr. Zwick:
I strongly urge that families of all September 11th
victims receive help from the "Victim Compensation
Fund" regardless of race, color, creed, or sexual
orientation.
It truly makes me sick to my stomach that anyone would
have to write a letter such as this--that any life or
family isn't as important as another--that there is
discrimination even in death; how discussing.
As a first generation American, whose parents arrived
at Ellis Island, I have always been proud that they
came to this country and helped build it and have
impressed their legacy on my children. Now I'm not so
sure of my pride if we allow a certain group (the
American Taliban?) to cruelly encourage discrimination
in the most horrific form.
It should be remembered that all working people pay
taxes to the government, not just the Christian Right.
