NY Victim Compensation

Dear Mr. Zwick:
I send you this e-mail as a request to consider including among those
eligible for victim compensation those who lost their life partners as well
as de facto parents or children, without regard to sexual orientation or
marital status.
Please follow the example already set by New York Governor Pataki in
granting compensation benefits "on a showing of mutual interdependence with
the victim, in recognition that anyone who shared with the victim living
expenses, day-to-day activities and the emotional bonds of family deserves
help in this time of need."
Justice should be for all citizens of the United States and should not
exclude those who fall into a minority that may not be accepted by certain,
small and very vocal groups.
Please consider my request, along with the many others similar to it, and
include life partners of heros like .
