Compensation after 9/11
Kenneth L. Zwick, Director
Office of Management Programs
U.S. Department of Justice
When the DOJ begins to compensate the victims and families of the Sept. 11
events, I hope that you will consider those who are partners of Gays and
Lesbians, the same as you do for married men and women. No need to continue
the discriminations of the past. No where does the constitution say we should
discriminate! Gays and Lesbians are no different than Heterosexuals when it
comes to losing loved ones with whom they share their daily lives. Follow
the example of NY's Gov. Pataki.
