Victims who were there but not physically harmed
I was in WTC 1 that morning, and although I escaped relatively unharmed I
still witness events that have affected me. It seems that compensation will
only be given to those who lost loved one or was a rescue workers.
Compensation for the latter is ironic given the fact that the possibility of
dying on the job really an accepted part of the job. Rescue workers are not
drafted. It seems to me that those of us who are truly survivors, but did
not lose a limb will not be a part of this compensation fund - and that is
unfair.
