The victims compensation plan to give them HOPE PASSES for National Forests
is a JOKE. The whole idea of forest passes is unconstitutional. It is
double taxation. It is descriminatory against the poor, and now for the
victims and there relatives. I paid my taxes for use of MY public lands. I
should not have to pay again. If I cannot afford the second tax, I should
not be descriminated from access to those lands. Most relatives of victims
and the surviving victims are residents of New York and will certainly not
spend up to $1000 to fly out to the Northwest to use that free pass. It's a
cheap and worthless attempt by Bush to look good. Plus its allowing others
to be exempt from this double tax. Unconstitutional!
