I strongly believe that there was a secondary casualty of the 9/11 attack.
The residential area south of WTC (Battery Park City South) was severely
affected, and continues to suffer due to a lack of any coordinated effort to
deal with the situation.
* People who are STILL displaced (no aknowledement made from the authority)
* Disruption of life ... we did not die, so we should continue to suffer
daily disruption which is already causing not only emotional but real
physical damage. For example, because we did not die, we should not complain
about the 24 hour construction/recovery noise which includes choppers flying
right outside of our windown all hours of the day
* Health concern...simply put, I am sick, and have never been this sick
* Severe financial loss, especially for property owners
