victim and victim family compensation

We believe that a common sense approach with some guidelines on amounts and needs would be the best. People all over the country cope all of the time with the loss of the breadwinner in their families and with insufficient life insurance. If families planned well, and they have life insurance coming if they have lost a loved one their need may be less than those who didn't plan ahead. Does that mean they don't deserve to receive some of the money that other Americans have given through the goodness of their hearts? Of course not, and I don't think any of us who have donated believe that. But the money wasn't meant to make anyone wealthy. The money can never compensate for the loss of a loved one. If someone was injured they may need more money than the families who lost a loved one. Children should not have to worry about paying for their education when they've lost a parent in this tragedy. Older people who were being helped financially by a child should not have to do without. Thanks for your attention.
