WTC victims compensation
I am a resident of battery park city (gateway plaza 400). No member of
my family died in the disaster. I was displaced from my home for 39
days. As a result of this, I had significant out of pocket expenses
related to transportation, clothing, food, and had to get a cell phone
and service plan -- something I had always opposed. The computer in my
apartment was destroyed. Further, some valuable antiques were stolen
from my apartment while I was displaced. None of my possessions were
insured.
