Victims Fund comment
Regarding the dispensing of public (tax monies) money to victims of any
disaster, be it a terrorist attack, or any other disaster, I feel much
attention should be paid to the victims REAL and JUSTIFIED need for such
assistance. I feel there are many "professional victiims", people who
ALWAYS seem to be unable to get out of the way of disasters and make no
effort to take care of themselves. There are also always quite wealthy folks
who seem to get wealthier by way of government giveaway programs. I feel
the government should always make sure of the legitimate need, first.
The governments giveaway programs should always, also, take into
consideration any funds these supposed victims may have received from other
sources. Sources such as any of the many organizations that use gift money,
begged from givers, supposedly to help victims of disasters.
