911 Fund

I am the wife of a victim. I believe that it is not fair to deduct any amount of money received from Life Insurance and Pensions or 401K plans. These plans were paid for by either our employer (as part of our salary) or from our own funds. If my husband was killed in a car accident, this would not happen.

There is no amount of money that can compensate us. I have no husband and my children now have to grow up without their father. My children's lives have now been terribly torn apart. They should never ever have to worry about another nickle for the rest of their lives. This is the least that can be done for them.

Also, New York State has offered free education. The Government is now forgiving college loans for victims. How about free education for victims childrens throughout the US (up to a certain amount, i.e. the average amount of a state school in the U.S.). They should not be limited to a NY school.
