To whom it may concern,
It would seem the opportunists have started to come out of the woodwork now that it appears something will happen with the moneys donated for the disaster. The relief fund should provide for the
needs of the victims of September 11 not everyone affected by the disaster. There is no one who was not affected by September 11. There are untold numbers of businesses that as a direct result of the eleventh will either go out of business or have a hard go of it in the near future. Unfortunately I am one of them and although the coming months will be difficult, I don't expect to be compensated because of
this. In retrospect, I am very thankful however, for of the blessings and good fortune afforded my
family.
If someone lost a family member due to the disaster, then I would suggest that family receive their loved ones yearly salary for a specified period of time. I'm not sure if that should be for life or until their loved one would have retired. Secondly, a trust could be set up for dependents children for their college education and expenses. Fireman and Policeman would already be taken care of through their unions.
