Comment on victim compensation program
I am writing to comment on the Victim Compensation Program. I was a victim on September 11, 2001. I was there on that sad day. I saw some terrible things, like people jumping out of buildings, etc. I will never forget it. I was physically injured when the towers came down. I lost my job, and I am still waiting for my injury to heal so I can return to work. So far, I have missed 10 weeks and it is hard to make ends meet with 3 children, a wife, and myself to take care of. I think this program is a great thing for the victims of this tragedy. I thank god that I am still alive.
