victims fund

I do think if an expense has been covered by a charity it doesn't need to be again by the goverment. People who "double dip" tend to boast about it which will cause resentment.
I would assume the charities are keeping records of the assistance they give so victims would not need to do so. Some will and others won't be able to. Worcester's experience with donations had much inter quarrels and bad experiences.
If the September 11th fund has $320 Million it should be right now helping those not eligible for other compensation and stop dilly-dallying about it. Everyone involved needs help now not months from now. The Safe Horizon-a victims service organization is trying to help people- they should all work together
