Dear Mr. Feinberg:
As a social worker and a member of the ACLU I am concerned
about the surviving families of the victims of the terrorist
attack of September 11.
In particular, I feel it is urgently necessary that these
survivors receive equal financial compensation, regardless of
their income level or the marital status of their relationship
to the deceased, Unmarried domestic partners of terror victims,
whether heterosexual, gay or lesbian, should have equal eligi-
bility for benefits. Justice and fairness may have some healing
effect for those so cruelly bereaved.
Thank you for your courtesy. Please let me know your stand.
Sincerely,
