horrible discriminatory policy
What an outrage. The terrorists certainly were not discriminating
when they slammed planes full of people into skyscrapers. It's
astounding to me that gay and lesbian couples and families face
discrimination from their own Government when it comes to being
compensated for this horrible tragedy.
The US loves to position itself as the champion of freedom and
equality for the world. The hypocrisy of those claims is once again
made clear by this disgusting policy. President Bush and the
Republicans have reached a new low when it comes to equality and
fairness, and that's quite an achievement for them. How sad for all
of us.
