I was appalled to read that the government may withhold equal compensation for members of gay and lesbian families who lost someone in the 911 attach. Since
much of that money will come from taxes, does that mean that gays and lesbians need not pay taxes because we are not going to get the same benefit as others? I
want equal compensation for all members of all families, not matter what their sexual orientation - to fail to compensate gay and lesbian families is a travesty of
justice.
