9/11 Fund Comments

It is very sad to know after all the years that the US has stood for freedom that something like this would have to come up! I am very ashamed to be an American after this. It is ethically and morally wrong to OVERLOOK our own citizens, but allow those who are not legally supposed to be here to claim compensation. How do you get off determining HOW my CONTRIBUTION is going to be distributed? This is an outrage. I like so many other will never donate any of my money to any kind of funds again. Our country fights for diversity, equality, and most of FREEDOM!!! WHO ARE YOU to take that right away? It has been several weeks since I heard that the government is unwilling to recognize a portion of its citizens because of their sexual orientation, and I am still very upset and angers me everyday. If you are going to exclude some citizens then NO ONE should be compensated. We Americans sit and listen to President Bush talk about this is a time for Americans to stand up and be united and all this other stuff. How can we be united if the government is separating its own citizens? THIS WHOLE campaign and everyone involved our COWARDS to hide behind state laws. When you bend national laws on illegal aliens, but not for your own citizens you think the American people are too STUPID to realize that you are only making excuses? Why does it matter so much what people do sexually? Are they bothering you by loving one another? Then why call them LESS of AMERICANS then they really ARE!!!
