Dear Mr. Swick:
I am a housewife in the
heartland of the country. I did
not loose a loved one on Sept. 11.
I am writing about a justice
issue in which I have no
personal stake.
was a hero
who died in the plane crash in
Pennsylvania on Sept. 11. It is
my understanding that since he
was gay, his loved ones are
not being compensated. This is
wrong and I wish to protest this discrimination.
He was part of the group of
men who overpowered the
terrorists and gave his life
that day. His bravery is
Just a valuable as that
of the straight men. His
loved ones deserve compensation,
too.
Sincerely,
Individual Comment
