Exclusion of Benefits to Gay & Lesbian Families of 9/11 Victims
Is it true that benefits have been denied to families
of gay and lesbian victims of the 9/11 terrorist
attacks? If so, I am writing to protest this
additional injustice against those who died that day.
How can a government pick and choose those who are
eligible for compensation--based on their sexual
orientation? Are the families of those who died any
less worthy of our help because they don't meet the
traditional definition of the American family unit? I
thought America was about INCLUSION, not EXCLUSION.
