I am outraged that a man who gave his life to save others and our Capitol,
partner, will not be compensated because he is gay.
He was a hero eulogized mightily until it was known he was gay and because
the country refuses to allow a gay couple to legally marry, through no fault
of their own, their partner's will not be compensated.
Our pledge of Allegiance say's for Freedom & Justice for all, not just for
heterosexual Americans but for all Americans. As a mother of a gay son, I
implore you to rethink your actions, do the right thing and honor all the gay
sons & daughter that died on 9/11/01.
