I am saddened once again by your lack of equality

It has come to my attention that everyone, including illegal aliens (who will be treated with impunity to encourage them to come forward and claim their money) will come under the umbrella of the 9/11 fund. Everyone except those partners of gay and lesbian men and women who suffered the same losses as everyone else did. Actually, they now suffer a greater loss. They are not even being recognized as worthy of aid.

Several gay men were involved in diverting the plane into the Pennsylvania field. They saved many lives of people who constantly spit on them when passing legislation. It takes a true hero to save people you know would rather see you dead.

As a taxpayer who in effect supports the Dept. of Justice I think it is a sad day when lawbreakers like illegal aliens and the businesses that hire them are receiving better treatment than law-abiding citizens.

I always knew John Ashcroft was trouble, but I really knew something was wrong when the works of art (the statuary) around the Dept.of Justice building were covered up. Why didn't he just order them blown to bits like the Taliban did to those ancient Buddhas?

You insult all Americans and all that America stands for when you constantly maneuver every way you can to deprive gays and lesbians the equal right to employment protection, housing protection, and every other protection that every other citizen enjoys.

We're all waving flags, alright, but the country has not become closer and more united, except in fighting the common enemy at hand. There is no room for bigotry in this country, and the role model against it should be how our government presents itself. You are doing a dismal job so far.
