"Civil" and "Equal" rights are only civil and equal if they apply to ALL
people!
I am completely disgraced and outraged with our government and it's
leaders!!!
The decision made by the "Department of Justice" concerning the "Sept. 11th
Assistance Fund" to NOT provide assistance to domestic partners who lost a
partner is an outrage!
I am sick of discrimination in our judicial system, taxes, employment,
healthcare, marriage, military, and in death.
We ARE American citizens and we ARE taxpayers! And it's time we get off our
ass and do something about the injustice in our government. It's obvious
that the only way we are going to get equality is to DEMAND it!
What do we have to do to finally get equality?
Refuse to pay taxes?
March on Washington?
Boycotts?
A national "Walk off our jobs" day?
Demonstrations at government buildings?
Riots?
Blow darts with HIV tainted blood?
What?
I'm not talking about special rights!
I am talking about CIVIL and EQUAL RIGHTS!!!

Federal laws should protect gays and lesbians from discrimination just as it
does for blacks, Jews and other minorities!!! Equal and civil rights should
be fair to all people, not just to those who our politically correct with
the majority or the current government. Right is right and fair is fair!
Wake up Mr. President!
Wake up Congress!
Wake up politicians!
You may think we're only 10%-20% of the population, but we have family,
friends, co-workers...
We have high level jobs, we earn higher incomes and we are a force to be
reckoned with!
I am fighting mad and getting more furious with every blow to our community,
with every injustice to domestic partners, with every story,
with every denial of justice by our president, government and judicial
system! Just like the forefathers of this country, I too am ready to die for
my freedom!!!
That's right! I'm ready to fight!
I normally do not advocate violence, but sometimes it takes a riot, a "gay"
Rosa Parks, or a civil war to demonstrate how serious a problem is! And I am
ready to fight the discrimination against gays and lesbians.
I ask the our government do something NOW! Don't wait for the outrage and
civil unrest to explode!
DO WHAT IS RIGHT!!!
