Outrage!
How dare you deny compensation to the families of 9/11 victims who happened
to be gay or lesbian!
& did not question whether their
sacrifices would be 'politically correct'. Their selfless acts showed them
for what they were--caring Americans who happened to be gay. Perhaps the
press forgot to mention that they were gay or maybe they did it
intentionally but the point is that no one made little of their acts just
because they happened to be gay.
Senator John McCain's eulogy for and the others who took down
that flight said we were all in 's debt. Is this how America repays
debts to its fallen heroes? By denying their grieving partners what even
illegal immigrants can claim?
This is absurd.
