Sept 11 Discrimination

To Whom It May Concern:

I understand that Kenneth Feinberg has decided that the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund will not give any money to gay partners of any of the victims of the 9/11 tragedies unless those victims happened to be lucky enough to live in a state which already recognizes gay relationships. I find this absolutely APPALLING! You are discriminating against a group of people who were as affected by the tragedy as any other group - a group that includes many of the heroes you tout as having saved so many lives that day (including           , who helped prevent flight 93 from crashing into its intended target, which may have included all of you).

I know that up until now, you have taken public input to reconsider how these benefits will be applied. Please reconsider this decision as well.

Let's not make Sept. 11 about discrimination or politics. That day was a tragedy for everyone, gay and straight. You have the ability to make the situation a little bit better, rather than a whole lot worse. Thank you for your time.

Yours truly,
