Victim's Compensation

To Whom It May Concern:

I read the remarks made by Mr. Feinberg on "Meet the Press" regarding dispensation of September 11th funds for partners of gay persons who died on 9/11.

Shame on you! I guess those "poor dead gays" don't deserve any kind of remuneration for their suffering, particularly in our oh-so-united-country.

What about            ? What about            ? Guess their gayness was OK when they were dying for THIS country -- but now that their dead, OH WELL! Two less gays to deal with, right?! I guess NO ONE is GRIEVING for them -- since they were GAY and all.

The more you perpetuate the marginalization of this group of people, the more you mock the very ideals of what we were told this country was all about in the wake of 9/11: compassion, kindness, and unity.

To think that just because someone is gay and not suffering the consequences of loss, bereavement, and financial hardship shared by their "better" heterosexual counterparts is typical of the narrow-mindedness of this administration.

What fine "patriots" you all are.

Not gay, but outraged nonetheless,
