Discrimination against Gay and Lesbian victims of Sept. 11, 2001

Dear benefits personnel,

As an American, I was appalled and horrified at what the terrorists did to my county on Sept.11th, 2001. I am now outraged at finding out that my own government is discriminating against Gay and Lesbian victims and their families who were killed or injured during the Sept. 11th attacks. How can you possibly justify this obvious and blatant discrimination against Gays and Lesbians? You have made it very clear that even illegal aliens can be compensated from this fund, yet American citizens can not? I donated to those funds, and you have no right to discriminate against any Americans who were harmed that day. I will not go quietly into this good night without joining the other voices calling on our own government to live up to it's motto of "Justice for all". Do not let this policy stand, as an American I can tell you the "Whole world is watching"!.
Sincerely,
