Regarding the 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund

To Whom it May Concern,

Can the attached text really be accurate? Did Mr Feinberg really appear on national TV and state that both the Attorney General and the 9/11 fund were willing to overlook the status of affected illegal aliens when determining victim compensation yet were not going to extend this leeway to gay victims? How can this possible occur?

I have no agenda to advance regarding the status of either an illegal alien or a gay person affected by this tragedy. I am offended that any single human being who lost a life or was injured during the events of September 11 would be denied the compensation that everyone else will receive. If we are not about Freedom and Equality as a result of this horrific act, then we have learned nothing from it.

Is it really acceptable to tell the nation that for one group, the laws are set aside while for another group, the people are the ones set aside?

Please review the message that this selective policy sends to the country. I hope to hear that every victim will receive equal compensation under the 9/11 Funds's guidance.

Sincerely,
