Victim Fund,
Every so often some words, some action, causes us to tumble and question
the depths of humanity. September 11 should not be remembered as the
ultimate tragedy, but glaring awakening in our lives. However, your group
affixes tragedy to your very meaning of hope. What hope, what justice,
what life are you breathing into America's heart by excluding gay and
lesbian partners from your plan?
There is a total error in Feinberg's explanation of how illegal aliens
qualify unlike same-sex partners for receipt of aid. Blatantly, homophobia
induced divides can rule over patriotism. The question is not about the
money but about the horrendous issue that still permeates a "unified"
America. WE ARE ALL. ALL what? Human? Alive? American? Excludable? Right?
Wrong?
If you are trying to avoid doing "wrong" with the "mainstream" of America,
by State law, is not it best skip picking favorites? Applaud the illegal
aliens, crucify the queers. Consider the heroes from any time, how many
based there life appeasing the mainstream?
I am American. I am a person. I cried on 9/11. I am gay. I am no less of a
human, as you are no more. I am one of many. I will not turn my back on
injustice, bigotry, and darkness. I cry for Feinberg's soul.
Please, consider your actions.
