To Whom It May Concern:
Gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender partners of victims of the Sept. 11 disasters deserve to be treated with the same compassion and dignity as straight partners. Get it right. After all, who died in NYC giving last rites to a fallen firefighter) got it right. (one of the Penn. passengers who fought back against the terrorists) got it right. Many other gays and lesbians died on 9/11. Many gays and lesbians mourned. We are Americans. America is about freedom and equality. How can you not get this right?
