Compensation for all?

I'm appalled by Kenneth Feinberg's inhuman decision to offer 9/11 compensation to the families and partners of everyone - including illegal aliens - except gays and lesbians.

, a gay man from San Francisco, has been singled out repeatedly for his heroics in preventing United flight 93 from destroying the Capitol or White House. One of the pilots of the four planes that were hijacked was a gay man. Many other gay and lesbian Americans were murdered that day, and their partners and families are grieving as deeply as the partners and families of all the straight people who died that day.

Either payments should be made to everyone who deserves it because of 9/11, or no compensation should be made at all, to anyone. After all, that's what Mr. Feinberg is proposing for those he considers beneath him.

Yours sincerely,
