I just read an email about an interview with Kenneth Feinberg regarding the
9-11 victim's compensation fund and how gay individuals who lost loved ones
in that horrible tragedy may not be compensated in an equal manner to the
heterosexual community. Illegal immigrants, too, are also getting better
treatment than the bereaved gay citizens of the United States. Feinberg
rattled on about how he has to rely on State law. Nonsense! Do the right
thing, here, Mr. Feinberg. Treat those in the gay community who have lost
loved ones in the awful tragedy on 9-11 with the same compassion you treat
the heterosexual community. You have a chance, here, to be a hero yourself.
Don't blow it.
