I am writing to request a review of the decision to not compensate partners of gay and lesbian victims of 9/11. Please consider that the people who have survived their gay/lesbian partners are just as affected as their heterosexual counterparts; they are just as broken hearted, their lives are just as destroyed and their families are just as torn apart. Don't turn your backs on their needs at this time. Do the merciful and just thing - include partners of gay and lesbian victims of 9/11 in the Victim Compensation Relief Fund!!
