Gays In 911
Dear Sir or Madame,
I am simply appalled at the reaction of our government regarding the
heros in 911. When an illegal alien merits more than an American
citizen because that American happens to have a sexual orientation
other than that of the heterosexuals, there is something definitely
messed up. When a person is a hero in the face of everyone nationwide
and should be recognized as such, until that person is found to have
a same sex lover, something is messed up. Our government is giving
money to illegal aliens and their loved ones and their children,
babies, and fetuses because that person gave their life for this
country and the people in it. All these gay people who loved their
country as much as their families must have died for nothing then
when they did their heroic actions FOR their country regardless of
the consequences to their loved ones. The partners to these brave
GLBT souls have just as much heartache as the young American women
who lost their husbands, just as much heartache as the illegal aliens
who have lost loved ones... and yet that means nothing. These people
have become nothing... for all they gave to/for their country.
You have a responsibility to give the partners to those GLBT people
their equal share in the compensation for partners/husbands/wifes
lost in 911. You will never be able to give them back their loved
ones, but you will help show that these people have the same value in
the hearts of America as the others who died for this country.
thank you,
