Discrimination

I am appalled by your as plans shared by Kenneth Feinberg on March 10, 2002 in NBC's "Meet the Press". He stated that he, your fund, intends to exclude benefits from some victims because of their pirvate sexual orientation. To try and rationalize it by hiding behind State laws is laughable in this circumstance.

I am neither a gay nor a lesbian so I have absolutely no vested interest in this issue. My only issue is that which comes with being an American with a conscience. Victims of terrorist activities are victims no matter their creed, nationality, and certainly not their sexual orientation. Heros of that terrible incident are heros still regardless of the same criteria. To now exclude a subpopulation from the deserved help, which was given out of the spirit of generosity by the whole world, is immoral.

How could you? If this comes to be a truth, I will be ashamed to have contributed to your fund in any way.
